About Us
Together for Resilience and Dignity
About Our Organization
GEDAAF (Gedo Development and Aid Foundation) was founded on October 10, 2019, in Garbaharrey Town, Somalia, to tackle the urgent needs of vulnerable communities in the Gedo region. The organization was established during a General Meeting that united influential community leaders, local stakeholders, and concerned citizens, highlighting a collective commitment to humanitarian aid and sustainable development. A significant concern raised during this meeting was the collapse of bridges in the region, which had severely impacted accessibility and livelihoods.
